As a reward for excellent engagement in literacy interventions, Ms Bennett and Ms Brookes took a group of Year 7 students to the brand-new Creative Space at The Forum Library in Wythenshawe on Monday 9th December to take part in an inspirational RFK Human Rights UK Workshop. It is a pop-up exhibition which is in place to recognise Human Rights Day which is celebrated internationally on 10th December. The students loved exploring the exhibition and created their own campaign and placards linking to one of the rights. In groups, they confidently presented their chosen cause and spoke about why it is important. It was a memorable and empowering workshop, and we were extremely proud of their attitude, work and behaviour.
